Products and Capabilities

PMA heat sizes range from 600 pounds to 25 tons. Capabilities include air induction melting, AOD refining, bottom poured electrodes and ingots, billet products, saw cutting, grinding services, and chemical laboratory services.

Additional product forms include small foundry ingots (20-pounds to 24-pounds nominal weights), customized foundry ingots, shot products, cast slabs, and cast mini-slabs.

• 400 series stainless steels

• Ultra-low nitrogen Pre-melts (includes modified chemistries for VIM melting) in grade types such as 718, 625, 13-8, and C-263

Customized heat chemistries and master alloys also are available for specialized applications.
